She's ON FIRE!

Hi Everyone!

I love you so much and I am so grateful for you and the support you give! You are amazing and I miss you! Things are going great here in Green Valley. We are covering 3 wards and they are Quail Ridge, Whitney Ranch and Green Valley ward. They are all awesome and we use the members every day to help us! We are teaching a lot of people right now and it is so awesome. We have Bonnie, Bagget Family, Bill, Jason, Danielle who are our main people right now. Matt Bagget, Jason and Danielle have baptismal dates and Bill is super awesome! We didn't even ask him if he would be baptized and he just brought up yesterday that his brother in law was going to come down and baptize him. At the beginning of the lesson he asked for a blessing so that he could stop being stressed out about finding a job. He didn't get the job he wanted...we were sad about that but he is awesome because he has faith that this will lead him to where he really is supposed to be. We showed him the font at the church and he was so amazed! Hopefully we will be able to set him for baptism in the next lesson. The Bagget fam is awesome. They are a part member family and only the wife is a member. Before I got here, sis Mattew and sis Hanny taught them the lessons and set him for baptism. I have met with them a few times with sis Mathew and Matt is getting baptized on AUG 13. We are so happy. They have two little boys named elijah and nathaniel. Matt came to church with the boys and I gave them stickers and pictures to play with. I gave them the pictures I had of Joseph smith in the grove, the prophet, the gorgeous Las Vegas temple and of Jesus Christ. They were happy. Now every time I see them they attack me asking me for stickers hahaha. It is awesome. They are so sweet. Matt is doing his best to quit smoking. It seems as though everyone smokes down here. It is really sad but it is awesome because they want us to help them. And we love it! We taught Bonnie last night and we were determined to ask her to be baptized. We asked her and she said that she cant yet because she has been smoking for 30+ years and she doesnt think she can quit and also her family said that they will disown her. But she told us last night that she knows this church is true and she has an amazing heart. I told her last night that maybe my fam will come down after the mission and tour with me all the places and meet all the people that I helped teach and she just gasped and said she would love to meet all of my family. So hopefully you guys can tour with me after Jan 1st (when my mission ends). The Lord truly blesses us in finding the elect that are ready to hear the gospel. We met up with this lady named elaine and she is so cool. You can tell when someone is ready to hear the gospel because she basically was saying everything that we were going to teach her. As sister mattew and I were going back and forth teaching her priciples of the restoration I soon realized that the first vision would land on my turn. I had been struggling to memorize it and I got a little nervous. But I said a little prayer and all of a sudden it was my turn. I know that the spirit was with me and that God loves elaine because he put the words in my mouth, word for word what I needed to say. For that time that I was telling her the story my eyes went white. I couldn't see anything but white. It was so odd but I know that elaine needed to hear it that day. We asked her to get baptized in the first lesson and she said that Aug 13th seems too soon but she says that if she finds that what were are telling her is true, then she will be baptized.

I wish that I could tell you everything that happens here but seriously I would never stop writing. I just pray that the spirit will be with us as we go on every day. Things have been going wonderful and I can tell you that without a doubt, I KNOW that this is Jesus Christs only true church on the earth. That statement is bold but true. And I say that not with an attitude of boasting, but invitation and gratitude. I know that we have Jesus Christ's priesthood on the earth and that the authority has been restored. And this gospel is the original truths that Jesus Christ taught, with no distortions or variations. I love you all and I miss you. I am doing well and I love me companion. She is going home in the next few weeks and going to hawaii. I told her to find cassie and convert her to missionaryness. I just want to tell everyone to go on a mission. It is the best decision that I have ever made in my life and it is an incredible experience.

My companion is amazing. She is a silly girl and we have so much fun together. She sets a great example for me and I hope to grow as she has. I have been the driver out of us two ever since I got here. I guess that she hit a tree or something before the mission hahaha. So I am the only one with driving priviledges. It is good I think because it helps me get to know the area better. IT is a blessing.

Well I would like to give the weekly weight report....hahaha jk. But seriously...I am the same weight as always. But wow the members feed us like crazy! Think about when we have the missionaries and the meals that we have prepared when they come over to our house....yea the members think that they have to feed us the most extravagent (sp??? haha) food in the world so by the time I get home who knows if I will even fit on the plane. hahaha. Anyways the heat is wow. It has gotten up to 110 or so and im getting brownish. :] I have a pretty awesome sis missionary tan going on....but no watch tan in sight yet. hahaha. Oh the little things. Yes I did get the packaage with the wonder tees! Thank you! THey are really cute colors. I havenet figured out what I can wear with them yet tho...BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH! THEY SAVE MY LIFE. My clothes we bought are awesome but I need more light stuff. Did you get my tape? Hopefully! Im glad that you got the pics and stuff. Today is my pday and I only get letters given to me on this day. I got one from you guys :], Nick, Eric and Jesse. They shall be fun to read! It looks like nick sent me a tape so I am excited to hear it! I actually am going to get G's today at the distrubution center. I am so thankful that we are going today! I cant take these G's anymore, my bottoms are too small and it cuts off my circulation. They have since I got em so I am excited. I miss sis medina but I get to see her tomorrow at New mish training. I sang at the last one for everyone and they seemed to like it. I love singing here. I also just tried out to sing at a fireside for investigators and I have been prompted to sing JS's first prayer. I hope it'll turn out good. Havent strated biking yet! I I hope I answered all of your questions....love you love you! MWAH XOXOXOXOXO

43 Lessons in ONE DAY? This girl is on a roll!

She is doing SO WELL! Also, her address has changed so I've updated it! -------------------->
Continue to write her, thanks so much! :)

Things are going great! We went to the mission home after we were greeted at the airport by Pres and Sis Neider. It was awesome to see them in Nevada. Um lets just say that it is hot. Enough said. The first day we met all out goals and taught a lesson to this lady named Bonnie. She is so solid...I guess that they have been working with her for a while and seriously she is so close. We are going to commit her to baptism today. I hope and pray that her heart will be softened. That night we got home...(we are living in a member's home, they are the Andersons) They are so nice. We have a room together, sister Matthew and I and we are doing really well. The heat is pretty uncomfortable no matter if I am sleeping or walking or breathing ETC ETC. But if I would have died of heat stroke it would have happened already haha. The first night we broke our back window on accident. It was crazy. Our bike rack shattered our window. So we used the car only for the first night. Yesterday we walked all day. It was awesome because if we would have had our car yesterday we wouldnt have taught 43 lessons yesterday. Our goal for the day yesterday was 20. We were led by the sprirt and it was amazing. We got 3 or 4 retrurn appt yesterday! We are really excited and just hitting the ground running. I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to learn and sometime I feel lost but I am so grateful to my father in heaven for giving me Sis Mattew. She is an amazing trainer with such a big heart. She is a great teacher and I hope that I can learn quickly from her. It is really cool, she is originally from the Marshall Islands and has lived in Hawaii as well. She is amazing. This is her last transfer so its my first and her last. She has been here in Green Valley for 3 transfers so she knows the area very well. And I am learning. I think that yesterday it was 100 degrees and itll get so much hotter. I can tell you that I might be sending alot of stuff home that I know I am NEVER going to wear because it is so hot. I hope you are proud of me because I am taking5 min showers, going to bed at 1030, waking up at 620 and getting ready super fast. I guess that everyone gains a bit of weight on this mission so.....2 hundo here I come! hahahaha just kidding. I really hope not....Nick tell your dad that I will not weight 250 by the end of the mission. I am also running in the morning and playing basketball with the elders....um wow basically I'm a pro. Um actually not, im pretty horrible but I am proud of myself that I am actually playing. Ill get better after 18 months for sure. I have recently heard from Corinne and Brittney. I will be writing them today! People here as a whole are pretty receptive. The message has only been rejected by a few people. But it doesn't make me scared to share the word. I just feel bad because they dont know what they are rejecting. They are rejecting Jesus Christ and his only church that has the fullness of the gospel. Most people are satisfied with what they have. And the truths they have are SOOOO important. But we invite them to accept more that God wants us to hear because if God is the same yesterday today in forever then he can talk to a prophet today like he does of old! What an amazing message! I love it! YAY! :] Um what do I want to say...???? Hmmmm...I have to write the mission president here so I better go but I love you all and I am so glad that I got to talk to you on the phone the other day! I love you and miss you! Just know that I am working hard! xoxoxoxo

One Happy Girl! Leaving for Nevada TOMORROW!

She's doing AMAZINGLY! It's so nice to hear from her every week! And thank you ALL for supporting her and us during this wonderful time! Her address is changing so once we know, you'll know :) THE CHURCH IS TRUE!

Wow I hope the cabin was fun for you guys! I sent a letter in the mail this morning so you should get it in the next couple of days. I am leaving for nevada tomoro! So tell everyone that my address is changing and I dont know what it is yet but I will let you know. Stay tuned in the next few days...especially tomoro because I am going to call! I am going to call between 4 and 9ish. Please just have a home phone, cell phones on and everything because I wanna talk to you guys and say hi for a quick second for the last time until christmas! Make sure you are on call because I would hate to feel like I was in pullman again! If you know what I mean! I love you all so much and things have been going good. Thank you for everything you all have dont for me in supporting me on the mission. It is only beginning! :]

So I am officially going on my first transfer tomoro! And I am going to die of heat stroke right when I get off the plane. But I have decided that as I get off the plane I am going to shake my mission president's hand and say, "president, I am here to serve the Lord, no matter what it takes. You will never have a problem with me." BTW there are a lot of troubled elders that I have seen here and have been really distracted by different things and it is really sad. I only get distracted for about 5 min and then Im done with that. I can tell you that I am always going to strive to obey with exactness. I know that if I do that and exercise my faith miracles WILL happen. One of the most amazing things I have learned is that I have found out that Heavenly Father is there WAITING for us to have faith and act in the way that we know we should by keeping the commandments (eventhough sometimes they can be hard to follow) tas soon as we do those things and are mindful of the promised blessings, THEY WILL BE POURED OUT UPON US even so much that we do not have room enough to recieve it. I promise you that WILL happen. I have seen it so much here already.

So today I went to the doctors and took my blood. They said that I am pretty anemic so they gave me some different iron pills. They thought I had an infection on my throat but they ended up finding there is nothing wrong w my throat but that I am anemic. Nice to know hahaha i guess. I almost punched the nurse because she stabbed me and then said "oops I missed" and then stabbed me again. I was not a happy little girl. haha.

This morning Sis. Medina left for Las Vegas with her family. Since her father passed away about one month ago she got special permission to be taken to the mission by her family. So I am basically a solo sister for one day and then I am off first thing in the morn. I was really sad to see her leave. But im sure that she will stay at the mission home tonight and I will get to see her tomoro. HOPEFULLY! I have been praying that if it is the will of the father, we will be companions again. She is incredible and I love her like a sister. We decided we are going to take a trip to mexico (where she is from) after the mission if we can!

Sis medina is has been teaching me spanish. I think that by the time I get home that I will have picked up some spanish. Which is kinda cool :] hmmm what else do I need to say since I have 3 min left??? uh....I will need garments at a later time, I will let you know, I need those baby church shoes socks in tan and black, ugh........brighter color clothes if you want to send my any. They want us to be really bright! But I can prolly by those things....I dunno maybe ill tty about it tomoro.

Thanks again for the support and I love you all so much! I am glad that all of you guys are safe after coming back from the cabin. I love you so much!

Love yours truly, Sister Fine <3
