I know with all my heart that the Nevada Las Vegas Mission is where I am supposed to serve. I feel so good about it even though no one guessed Las Vegas! I am eager to be done with school and be able to leave June 22nd to go into the MTC. I am so grateful for the opportunity that the Lord Has given me to serve in his kingdom and I hope and pray that through his help, I will become the missionary and the person I am supposed to be. I love the Lord with all my heart and I know that this church is true. These truths bring forth the greatest happiness one can ever feel. I invite all those who desire to learn more to contact the missionaries in your area and come to know for yourself about the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If you are having trouble, contact me or someone else you are comfortable with so that you can find help or guidance. I am not perfect but I will help any way that I can and I will do my best to answer questions.
One of my favorite scriptures is in Alma 32. I love the entire chapter because it focuses on faith. But here are the words from verses 27 and 28. "27: But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that can give place for a portion of my words. 28: Now, we will compare the word unto a seed. Now if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that you will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves--It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me." I have done what these scriptures have asked and I have come to know of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. Now that I know that the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I say this simple testimony in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
